Mary F. Gagliardo, 95, of Coloma died Monday, January 25, 2010 at Lakeland Continuing Care Center in St Joseph.
Mary was born October 16, 1914 in Chicago to Joseph and Mary (Puleo) Raia. On Nov 15, 1932 she married Joseph Gagliardo who preceded her in death in 1993. Mary enjoyed being a member of the Garden Club and Spare Timers Club. She had a true love for music and cooking for her family.
Survivors include two sons Peter (Marge) Gagliardo of Lakeland, Fla, Joseph (Reda) Gagliardo of Coloma, and one daughter Jean (Michael) Postelli of Watervliet. Also surviving is one sister Jenny Benigno of Park Ridge, ILL, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son Anthony Gagliardo and brothers Leo Raia, Albert Gagliardo, and Nick and Sam Raia.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Friday at St Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet of which she was a member followed by burial in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 – 8 pm at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Memorial donations in memory of Mary may be made to St Joseph Catholic School in Watervliet or to Berrien County Cancer Service.
