Survived by his sisters, Jenny Lou Skul and Evelyn (Robert)Felbinger; sister-in- law Joanne Skul; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by his parents Anton and Jennie (Span) Skul; and his brother Anthony (first wife Mary Jane) Skul.
Bob was a graduate of DePaul University with a B.A. and Northern Illinois University with a M.A. He started as a teacher at Chaney School before teaching at Romeoville High School, then retired from Bolingbrook High School. He loved his family, his friends, books, the opera, movies, fishing, Yellowstone Park, his own sourdough pancakes and a good cigar.
Member of Illinois Federation of Teachers, KSKJ Lodge 29, American Fraternal Union, and St. Joseph Church, Joliet.
