Ada B. Barton, 78, of Watervliet, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Westwood's of Bridgman.

Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 17 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. on Monday.  Burial will be in Coloma Cemetery.  Those wishing to leave an online message for the family may do so at www.duffieldpastrick.com .

Ada was born July 28, 1943 in New Port, Arkansas to Albert and Irene (Dunn) Brumley.  In her free time she enjoyed painting, playing bingo, doing puzzles, along with arts and crafts.  She truly just loved to talk.  Ada had attended Calvary Lighthouse Church in Benton Harbor.

Survivors include two daughters Johanna Barton and Janet Miller-Barton, both of Watervliet; two brothers, Albert (Lois) Brumley, Jr. of Niles, Willie (Rhonda) Brumley of Hartford; two sisters, Opal Jewell of Coloma, and Susie (Roger) Davis of Edwardsburg.  Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her long time companion, Ed Fester, three children, James, Janie, and Jeanie, two brothers Thomas and John, and a son in law Tom.
