Betty Jane Tillman, 88, formerly of Coloma, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in Noblesville, Indiana.

Her funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, November 11th at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in South Haven. A luncheon will be held immediately after the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Private burial will take place at Mount Ever Rest Memorial Park South in Kalamazoo. Memorials in Betty's honor may be made to Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Betty was born June 12, 1936 in Missouri to Oscar and Thula (Davis) Hensley. She married William Wesley Harris on February 20, 1954 and had 3 children. After he passed in 1992, she married Eugene Tillman in 2004. Prior to her retirement, Betty had been employed as a lab technician for Leco Corporation in St. Joseph. She was also a long-time member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in South Haven.

Betty is survived by her daughter Donna (Mike) Dermody of Buchanan; sons Darrell (Kathy) Harris of Fishers, Ind. and Don (Paula) Harris of Bitely, Mich.; her sister Glenda Durbin of Parchment, Mich.; brother Ron Hensley of Milwaukee, Wis.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harris in 1992 and second husband Eugene Tillman in 2018, her parents Oscar and Thula; her step-mother Cecil Hensley; sisters Juanita Flannigan, Laverne Atherton, and Doris "Dussie" Murphy; and her brothers Russell Hensley and Jim Hensley.
