Beverly A. Charleston, 66 of Watervliet passed away on January 30, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

Beverly was born September 25, 1959 in Benton Harbor to Garland and Betty (Leach) Smith. She married the love of her life Jeffrey on March 15, 1980 and had 42 years together before his passing in 2022. Beverly has a love for reading, watching old TV shows, crocheting, thrifting and going to garage sales. Above all, she loved her family, doing everything she could for her children, grandchildren and her beloved dog Sassy.

Beverly is survived by her children Jeffrey (Tammy) Charleston and Melissa (Danny) Henley; grandchildren Destiny, Cassidy, Brayden and Ashlynn; brothers Richard and Mark Smith and her dog Sassy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jeffrey and her brother Ronald Smith.
