Beverly 'Bev' Faraone, 87, of St. Joseph, passed away August 29, 2016 at Pine Ridge Nursing Facility, Stevensville, Mich where she had been a resident since April 2016.

Bev was born August 9, 1929 in St. Joseph, Mich to Leo and Gladys Seel.  She graduated in 1947 from Benton Harbor High School having been an avid fan and cheerleader for the roaring Tigers.  In 1951, she married Peter Faraone and together had three children.  Bev retired from Lakeside Manufacturing where she was the administrative assistant to the president and vice president for many years.  She was a former member of the Twin City Child Study Club, enjoyed playing pinochle and belonged to several bowling leagues which brought many fun times and laughs.  But nothing gave her greater joy than her grandchildren; she could not have been prouder of each and every one of them.  Bev epitomized the meaning of 'grandmother'.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents and loving son, Jim in 2001.  She leaves to mourn her loss, daughter, Julie (John) Weber, Covert, Mich, son, Jeffrey (Shelley) Faraone, St. Joseph, Mich,  daughter-in-law, Kelly Faraone of Sandy, Utah, brother, William (Delores) Seel, Sun City, Calif, grandchildren Andrew (Tandy) Ulleg, Adam (Amanda) Faraone, Kaitlyn Faraone, Tyler (Whitney) Faraone, Lainie (Ryan) Faraone, Kamrynn and Shawn Weber, great-grandchildren, Isabella, Grace, Andrew, Jaxon, Harper, and Willa, and very importantly, devoted and longtime companion, Donald Richmond.

To know her was to love her.A special heartfelt thanks to the employees of Pine Ridge whose compassion and sincere love for Bev is greatly appreciated and gives us comfort.
