Obituary

Billie B. Douglas, 76, of Riverside passed away peacefully on April 7, 2016 surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm with visitation starting at 12:00 pm at Duffield & Patrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma.  Burial will follow in Coloma Cemetery.  Memorial donations in Billie's memory may be made to Hospice @ Home.  Those wishing to leave an online message of comfort for the family may do so by using the "guestbook" link located on this page.

Billie was born August 11, 1939 in Leechville, Arkansas to Charles and Emma (Isbeal) Owens.  Billie was a Sunday school teacher at Watervliet General Baptist Church for 28 years.  She loved to sing and traveled to churches singing with the Sunny Siders.  She also enjoyed traveling including a trip to Israel and motorcycle riding and flying where she was a member of the Aero Club in Riverside.  Billie loved the Lord, her family, friends and life itself.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years Raymon, three daughters Joyce (Jim) Kalinowski of Coloma, MI, Ellen (Ken) Biastock of Benton Harbor, MI, Deborah (Rusty) Havlin of Waveland, MS and one son, Ted (Lisa) Douglas of Jacksonville, FL.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving is one sister, Alma Johnson of Lafayette, TN.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Geneva, Joyce, and Dealie and three brothers; Charles, Leadell and George.
