Bobby Gene Barton, 83, entered the presence of his Savior, April 15, 2020

Bob was born April 30, 1936 in Rives, Missouri to Walter and Lona Barton. He spent most of his life in the Benton Harbor area and was a member of the Benton Harbor High School graduating class of 1955. Bob served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1965, and completed a tour in Germany with the rank of sergeant. He retired from the Cleveland, Ohio division of Volvo, (formerly Clark Equipment Co.) in 1991 after 27.5 years of service. He was a member of the NRA and liked to watch pro-football and NASCAR racing on TV.

Bob is survived by sister Betty (Buck) Moore of Riverside, sister-in-law Debera (Edmund) Barton of Watervliet, and brother CL (Carol) Collins of Coloma along with many nieces, great nieces, great-great nieces, nephews, great nephews, and great-great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Lona Barton, five brothers Jerry and Edmund Barton, Alva, JR, and Carl Collins and one sister Ruby Kiser (Collins).
