Bonnie Y. Gast, 81, of Coloma passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Services celebrating Bonnie's life will be held 12:30 Wednesday, Nov. 10 at duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home where visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M. and again from 11 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday.  Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens.  Donations in memory of Bonnie may be made to the First General Baptist Church in Coloma of which she was a very active member or to the family towards the purchase of a headstone. Bonnie was born Feb. 2, 1940 in Trumann, Arkansas to William and Ruth (Dame) Fain.  She truly loved her kids, grandkids, and her church, where she would be found participating or helping out in any way she could.  She also cherished the almost daily car rides with her husband Harold, looking for animals and various wildlife.  They always managed to swing by Eau Claire or South Haven for ice cream.

Survivors include her husband Harold, whom she married Oct. 26, 1963, a son Rick (Char) Gast of Bellville, Mich; two daughters, Misty (Ken) Morris, and Wendy (Lance Green) Ostrom both of Coloma, and a sister Alice Main of Watervliet. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Amanda (Sean) Stevens, Amber (James) Spoke, Kent (Emily) Morris, Blake (Charissa) Ostrom, Brant Ostrom; eight great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Emilie, Adaline, James, Annabella, Camden, Carson, Evelyn and numerous other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents Bonnie was preceded in death by several brothers, sisters, relatives and friends.
