Bonnie Jane Rutledge, 68, of Benton Harbor, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation beginning at noon.  Those wishing to leave a message or share a memory with the family may do so by selecting the Guestbook option on the left.

Bonnie was born in Watervliet, Michigan on June 12, 1953 to Ira and Juanita Rutledge. She was a graduate of Coloma High School. Bonnie loved people and the people loved her back. She was affectionately known as Nanny to all. She had not only a great sense of humor but also an infectious laugh. Her favorite part of the day was spent on the porch with her phone in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other while she talked with friends and family. She was a big part of her family's lives and will be missed by all.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter Amanda Prescott of Benton Harbor; her son Joshua Cromer; three sisters, Julia Kiser of Benton Harbor, Lenda (Richard) Ward of Watervliet, and Vickie (Randy) Anderson of Orlando, Fla.; her brother Alvin (Donna) Rutledge of Watervliet; five grandchildren, Brooke (Nick) Bizer, Devon Cromer, Brittany Schroeder, Brenna Prescott and Croix Cromer; four great grandchildren, Carter, Lili, Nolan and Letti; Dan Jackson, whom she thought of as a son, and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by Billy Cromer, the father of her children; and her parents.
