Brian K. Wilkey, 59, of Three Oaks, Michigan and Okeechobee, Florida passed away peacefully at his home in Michigan on April 7, 2026 with family at his side.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, April 18 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma, where the family will begin receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Donations in memory of Brian may be directed to his wife Paula, to then be given to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department Motorcycle Unit. Brian was born February 18, 1967 in Michigan City, Indiana to Leslie “Skip” and Diana (Skalecki) Wilkey. He was a 1985 graduate of New Buffalo High School and retired in January of 2023 after 25 years of service with the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office. He was a Captain in the jail and served on the motorcycle unit.

In his free time Brian enjoyed playing the guitar, showing his classic car, riding his Harley-Davidson, golfing, and traveling all of the 50 states with his family and wife Paula. His favorite being hiking in the National and State Parks. He also truly enjoyed watching his grandkids programs and sporting events.

Brian is survived by his wife, Paula, whom he married September 10, 1988; two daughters Katie (Shannon) Bernardon of Churubusco, Indiana, and Krista (Jacob) Stark of Three Oaks; his sister, Terri (David) Lewis of New Buffalo, Michigan; his brother Mark (Rachel) Wilkey of Michigan City; and his brother-in-law, Mike (Stephanie) Bartos of Three Oaks. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Lauren and Colten Willis, Harper Bernardon, and Lillian and Ellie Stark.
