Carol L. Selter, 70, formerly of Watervliet, passed away Thursday morning , November 16, 2017 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo following a four year long battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation beginning one hour prior at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Watervliet City Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Carol's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Carol was born July 30, 1947 in Watervliet, Michigan to Robert and Helen (Sadler) Selter. She was a graduate of Watervliet High School. Carol was employed as a clerk at Meijer's in Benton Harbor for over 23 years before retiring in 2013. In her free time she loved working outside in her flower garden and she was also an avid movie watcher.

Carol is survived by two children, her daughter Lorene (Paul) Stinnett of Kalamazoo and her son Clint Barker of Niles; her brother Ronald Selter of Hartford; four grandchildren, Tara (Steve) Kemp, Shane (Crystal) Stinnett, Caleb (Allyson) Stinnett, and Jalen (Rachel) Stinnett; and three great grandchildren, Landon, Caden and Shareese Kemp.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
