Charles E. Herman, 85, of Coloma, passed away on March 23, 2019 at his residence

Chuck was born October 19, 1933 in Benton Harbor to Emil and Aletha (Bayman) Herman. He was a United States Navy veteran serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway during the Korean War era and was employed by Whirlpool for 31 years. Chuck enjoyed both fishing and hunting in his free time.

Chuck is survived by his wife Mary Lou whom he married June 24, 1955; children James (Debi) Herman of Texas, Kathy Myrick of St. Joseph and Richard Herman of Coloma; his sister Corrine (Jan) Edqin and his sister in law Marjorie Herman. Additional survivors include his grandson Matthew (Katie) Myrick, great grandson Flynn Myrick and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Joanne (Jerry) Bruff and his brother Jack Herman.
