Charles A. Owen, 68, of Coloma, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 24 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Charles memory may be made to the American Heart Association. Charles was born March 10, 1951 in Lubec, Maine to Winston and Jean (Finley) Owen. He was the former Mayor of Coloma for many years and was most recently employed by Whirlpool where he worked for 14 years. Charles loved golf, baseball, reading and planting flowers in his flower garden. He enjoyed spending time with family, loved his dog Freya and was a devoted husband and father.

Charles is survived by his wife Cheryl whom he married October 28, 1978; his children Stephanie and Evan Owen of Coloma and his sister Shirley (Ronald) Decker of Grand Rapids. Also surviving are three nephews Phillip and Matthew Euper and Brian Rasmussen and a niece Shawna Siegfried.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Beverly Euper.
