Claudine Mae Jones, 81 of Covert passed away Tuesday, June 28 at her residence.

Services will be held 1 pm Friday, July 1 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 pm.  Burial will be in North Shore Memory Gardens.  Donations in memory of Claudine may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.  Those wishing to leave an online message of comfort for the family may do so at www.duffieldpastrick.com.

Claudine was born May 27, 1935 in Coloma to Nelson and Myrtle (Hathaway) Heuermann.  She was the Assistant Librarian at Covert Public Library for many years.  In her free time she enjoyed sewing, reading, scrap booking, family gatherings and camping at Nichols Lake in the summer.

Survivors include her husband Larry whom she married December 18, 1954; two daughters Deborah Warsko of Coloma, Pamela (Dale) French of Mattawan; two sons David Michael (Victoria) Jones of Watervliet and Steven (Jennie) Jones of Covert.  Also surviving is one brother Herman Heuermann of South Haven, two sisters Juanita Kelley of Coloma, Sharon Dahm of Watervliet , 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Mackenzie Mohney.
