Clinton W. Evett, 50, of Coloma, passed away in the presence of his family on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph as a result of liver and kidney failure.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation immediately prior beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Coloma Cemetery. Clint was born November 25, 1966 in Watervliet, Michigan; the son of Glynn and Thelma Evett. He graduated from Coloma High School and then worked through the local carpenters union doing both commercial and residential construction. He was an excellent carpenter. Clint was a loving father who enjoyed hunting, fishing and long walks with Emily and her animals.

Clint is survived by his daughter Emily Evett of South Haven; his parents Glynn and Thelma Evett of Benton Harbor; his sisters Tammy Evett Fries of Hartford and Glynna (Ben) Parker of Benton Harbor; his special friend Jennifer Ling; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Johnnie Mae Sanders, and Clinton and Tennie Evett.
