Corrine "Toots"  Dubitz, 98 of Benton Harbor passed away Friday, January 5 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Stevensville surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with burial following at North Shore Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends starting at 11:00 a.m. up until the time of the service. Memorial donations in Toots' memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Toots was born January 2, 1926, to Fred and Grace (Gillem) Tripp.  She was born in St. Joseph, raised in Covert, and she spent the majority of her life living and farming in Millburg. She and her siblings helped with many acres of blueberries, where grandkids also helped as the years went on. Toots retired from VM and IPM to become a homemaker and take care of her family. She was a member of the women's auxiliary for the VFW Post 1137 and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and knitting. Toots also had a love for camping with family and vacationing with friends on Houghton Lake every summer.

Toots is survived by her children John (Pat) Dubitz and Linda Tipton both of Benton Harbor; her grandchildren Scott Tipton, Jennifer Dubitz and John C. Dubitz; five great grandchildren Jakob Tipton, Makenna Tipton, Breona Eddie, Che Eddie Jr. and Kenyon Boyd; and three great great grandchildren Che Eddie III, Claire Eddie and A'Loni Eddie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John, four brothers and two sisters.
