Danny E. Michael, 61 of Hartford passed away peacefully with family around him on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Services celebrating Danny's life will be held 11 am Thursday, February 23, at the Federated Church in Hartford.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma.  Donations in memory of Danny may be made to the family. Danny was born October 15, 1955 in Chicago Heights, Ill to Archie and Arbilee (Phillips) Michael. He was self employed the majority of his life however, most recently, retired from Four Winds Casino. Danny was an avid Cubs fan and a John Deere man who loved old cars, tinkering, building things, and tending to the garden.  He was the most generous, kind hearted man who treated everyone like his own.  He was a great role model, amazing husband, and hard worker who truly loved his kids and grand kids.

Survivors include his wife Judy whom he married December 14, 1974; a son Brian (Jennifer) Michael of Hartford; daughter Melissa (Trett) Price of Watervliet; god son Rafael (Claudia) Reyna of Hartford; mother Arbilee (Odell) Martin of Arkansas; a brother Steve Michael of Paw Paw; and a sister Diane (Buddy) Peaton of Arkansas.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Alexa (Brandon) Wright, Hailie Tarantino, Mackenzie Michael, Andrew Michael, Lillian Price, Kaiden Price, Peyton Michael; mother and father in law Imogene (Grover) Boyd; along with several brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews.

Danny was preceded in death by his father and a sister Carol Michael.
