Debra Joy Arny of Coloma went peacefully to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior on October 11, 2018, at the age of 65, surrounded by family and friends in her own home.

Debra was born in St. Joseph, MI on Jan. 28, 1953, to William & Janie (Pruiett) Griffin.  She married the love of her life, Larry Arny in July of 1971, and adopted two beautiful children between 1976 and 1981.  These three were the most important part of her life.  She was also a skilled homemaker and for many years, performed administrative work for Arny Construction.  She most enjoyed traveling and spending time with her loved ones, and left behind a legacy of devotion, loyalty, and unconditional love to all of her family and friends.  She will deeply missed by all of us who knew her.

Debra is survived by her husband, Larry; her daughter, Kristy Arny; her son, Brian Arny; a sister Carol Arny; brother, Keith (Jan) Griffin; Aunt, Wanda Harrison; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal; her parents-in-law, Benedict & Ruth (Kramer) Arny; a brother-in-law, Walter Arny; and her Uncle, William Harrison.

The celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct.16 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 pm and also from 10 to 11 am on the day of the service.  Burial will follow in Coloma Cemetery.
