Denis L. Shindeldecker, 68, of Benton Harbor passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his son's residence in Benton Harbor.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 17 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service.  Private burial will be at North Shore Memory Gardens.  Those wishing to leave an online message of remembrance may do so by using the "guestbook" link located on this page.

Denis was born August 11, 1954 in Benton Harbor to Howard and Willie (Freeman) Shindeldecker.  Over the years he was a mechanic for several area auto shops, later retiring from LaFarge North America after 30 years of service.  In his free time Denis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers.

Survivors include his son Brandon (April) Shindeldecker and daughter, Tiffany Schultz both of Benton Harbor.  Also surviving are two brothers; Gary (Judy) Shindeldecker of St. Joseph, Doug Shindeldecker of Benton Harbor, three grandchildren, Brayden, Wyatt, and Raelynn, along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Denis was preceded in death by his sister Cindy Shindeldecker, and sister-in-law, Debi Shindeldecker.
