Dennis James Rickers, 56, of Watervliet passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, in the burn unit of Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

His father, Richard D. Rickers, preceded him in death in 1976.

Dennis is survived by his devoted mother, Donna Rickers; four brothers: Gene (Denise) DeMorrow, Rick (Lee) Rickers, Mike Rickers and Ron (Maurenna) Rickers; two sisters, Pam LaVanway and Charlotte (Tim) Hunt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his godparents, Tom and Carol Dinse.

Services for Dennis will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the New Apostolic Church, 7521 Paw Paw Ave., Watervliet. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
