Donavie Sipla passed away at her home on November 24, 2022. Better known as Donnie, she was born on May 23, 1925 in Coloma and lived her entire life in Coloma. Her parents were Ernest and Minnie Kittell.

Donnie attended and graduated from Coloma High School in 1943. On February 1, 1947 she married Andrew Sipla. Andrew preceded her in death in 2006. They had fifty nine years together. They both loved living on their farm known as Siplas Corner and having their family all so close by and with them so often.

Donnie is survived by her four children Douglas, Andrea, Brad and Todd all of Coloma. Grandchildren Danielle (Brian) Gage, Kevin (Courtney) Sipla, Andrew Sipla and Ashley Sipla; great grandchildren Olivia Sipla, Cole Gage and Holden Gage. Also surviving are beloved nieces Carol, Donna, Laurie and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, infant son, parents and brother in law and sister Rudy and Evelyn Appel.

There will be no visitation and a family burial service has been held at Coloma Cemetery. Memorials may be made to North Berrien Senior Center, Caring Circle Hospice or donor's choice.
