Donnis "Don" Stewart, 69, of Coloma went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, February 27 at Duffield and Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 28 at Midway Baptist Church in Watervliet. Entombment will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorial donations in Don's memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Don was born June 20, 1950 in Plant City, Florida to L.V. and Linnie (Meeks) Stewart. He graduated from Bridgman High School in 1968. Don served in the United States Army including a tour of duty in Vietnam. He continued in the Army Reserves after his three year term. He graduated from Lake Michigan College. He worked for UPS and was an assistant manager at Rex Auto Parts. Don enjoyed reading, genealogy, and computers. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was never too busy to babysit and spent countless hours with them.

Don is survived by his wife Susan whom he married June 22, 1974; his daughter Katrina (Jarrod) Hankins of Coloma; a sister Terri (Rod) Neeley; brothers and sisters-in law Rex "RJ" (Debbie) Watkins and Bonnie (Jeff) Joseph and three grandchildren Madison, Ethan, and Olivia. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews Michele, Allen, Christina, Grant and Hudson; great-niece and great-nephew Taylar and Ian.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and his mother and father-in-law.
