Duane R. Mack, 78, of Coloma, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 surrounded by his family at home.

Duane was born on December 10, 1937 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He was employed at Gast Manufacturing for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1997. Duane and his wife Donna had celebrated 57 years of marriage together. They met as childhood sweethearts at age 12 and have been together ever since. Duane was a family man above all else and included his family in everything he did. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Duane was an avid bow hunter, enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf, camping and watching NASCAR on Sunday.

Duane is survived by his loving wife Donna, his children Rick (Sandra) Mack, Dorinda (Kevin) Leamer, and Lori (Ron) Allred, all of Coloma; his sisters Vera (Robert) Sisson of Palatka, Florida and Betty (Bryce) Bailey of Benton Harbor; and a sister-in-law Tawnia (Jay) Chantler of Caruthersville, Missouri.  Also surviving are his grandchildren Brandi Allred, Derrick Allred, Kyle Leamer, Kayla Myers, Travis Mack, Kim Nimtz; his great grandchildren Trevor Nimtz and Camryn Myers, and a special friend and neighbor Tom Denbow.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation beginning one hour prior at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens.  Memorials in Duane's honor may be made to Hospice At Home.
