Dustin J. Ludwig, 35, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his residence.

A Memorial Service celebrating Dustin's life will be held at noon on Monday, March 3rd at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation with the family will take place from 10 a.m. until noon. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dustin's Go Fund Me account and will go to a charity of the family's choice. Dustin loved everything about nature and the outdoors, from camping, hiking and deer hunting, it didn't matter what he did as long as it involved friends and family. Dustin's greatest passion was fishing, whether by a boat or kayak, or at the St. Joseph pier, Berrien Springs dam, or on the ice at Magician Lake, he never missed an opportunity. One of his favorite trips was going rock climbing with his brother Andrew in Kentucky's Red River Gorge. If there was an outdoor adventure to be had, he wanted to be included. Dustin also had a very kind and loving heart and always made time for others. If someone needed assistance in any way, he was always there to lend a hand.

Dustin is survived by his mother Melissa Ludwig of Benton Harbor; his father Kevin Ludwig of St. Joseph; his brother Andrew who is serving in the U.S. Navy and stationed in San Diego; his grandparents, James and Judith Curtis of St. Joseph and Judy Ludwig, also of St. Joseph; several aunts and uncles, Bonnie (Ron) Russell of St. Joseph, Tamra Curtis of Stevensville, Rick (Fran) Curtis of Covert, and Paul Curtis and Mark Curtis, both of Stevensville; and his four legged companion Sadie.

Dustin was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles Ludwig.
