Edna P. Preciado, 68, of Coloma, passed away on March 29, 2018 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet. Burial will follow in Coloma Cemetery. Memorial donations in Edna's memory may be made to St. Jude's. Edna was born March 27, 1950 in Calico Rock, Ark. to James and Eva (Whiteaker) Lester.   Edna had a passion for raising exotic birds and gardening. She enjoyed planting fruits, vegetables and flowers with her grandchildren. She loved her perennials and daffodils especially. Edna was the world's greatest cook making everything from scratch and mostly southern. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Edna is survived by her husband Mario Preciado whom she married in 1974, children Jimmy Lester of Bangor, Pennie (Rick Arthur) Lester of Benton Harbor, and Rick (Chirsty) Preciado of Coloma and step daughter Christine Preciado of Chicago. Also surviving are her sisters Mary Hagopian, Shirley (Glen) Lancaster, Gladys (George) Mayfield, Juanita Cockerel, and Lola Wilson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Earlene, Almus and Grace Lester and her brother Eldon Lester.
