Ernestine Gunn, 77 of Benton Harbor passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 8 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 up until the time of service.  A private burial will take place in Coloma Cemetery. Ernestine was born February 2, 1945 in Batesville, Ark. to Ernest and Nellie (McClurg) Bishop. On July 31, 1966, she married her husband Richard and celebrated 53 years together before his passing in 2017. Ernestine enjoyed word search puzzles, going to the casino, working in her mini flower gardens, riding around on golf carts and playing with their pug Toby.

Ernestine is survived by her children Darran Gunn of Benton Harbor and Robin (Steve) Pipkins of Traverse City, grandsons Brad and Chad Pipkins, sister Pat (Larry) Andrasi and niece Nicole (Peter) Gioia.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard.
