Freda May Haskins, 68, of Coloma, passed away on July 18, 2023 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Friends may visit with the family starting at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial donations in Freda's memory may be made to the Marie Yeager Cancer Center. Freda was born May 17, 1955 in Benton Harbor to Fred and Gloria (Wigent) Kroboth.  She started with Michigan Bell in 1973 and retired from AT&T in 2013, being lovingly referred to by her coworkers as "Freda speaking". Freda enjoyed bowling on Sunday nights at Strikers with her daughter for many years and Friday night dinners out. She also loved spending time with her granddaughters Resa and Abigail and her great grandson Salem. Puzzles, word searches, playing cards and collecting stuffed mice and snowmen were true hobbies of Freda's that she spent a lot of her free time doing.

Freda is survived by her children Lori Haskins of Coloma and Brian Haskins of Wapakoneta, Ohio; siblings Duane (Sara) Kroboth, Theresa Woodward, Lisa (William) Wallace, Joe Kroboth, Rhonda (Scott) Farley and Renee (Carl) Wood; her step mother Betty Kroboth; two granddaughters Resa Haskins and Abigail Fleischmann; one great grandson Salem Westcott and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother Dean.
