Geletta P. Martin, 97 of Benton Harbor passed away March 6 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

Geletta was born July 23, 1927 in White Plains, Ky. to Vincent and Zellie (Smith) Herbert. She was employed by V.M. Corporation for 15 years, then going to I.P. M. until 1974, followed by working at the Orchards Mall. Geletta also enjoyed doing word search puzzles and painting little things in her spare time.

She is survived by her daughter Netta (Mike) Alsup; step grandson Michael Alsup; great granddaughters Amber, Mariah, Ashlyn and Harper; step great grandchildren Skylar, Evalyn and Joseph Michael; and great great grandchildren Scarlette, Grayson, Allison and Athena.

Geletta is preceded in death by her husband Loy; her son Loy Vincent Martin; her six siblings; granddaughters Tonya Nelson and Trisha Kraiger; and step grandchildren Tonia Krause and Joseph Alsup.
