Gene Rennhack, 93, of Coloma, passed away on October 5, 2022 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12 at Salem Lutheran Church in Coloma followed by a luncheon. Burial will be held at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph later that afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Gene was born May 26, 1929 in Baroda to Paul and Catherine (Nitz) Rennhack. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War era and on May 3, 1952, married Lorraine Ladwig, who preceded him in death on December 20, 2020. Gene was the   co-owner of Badts' Pharmacies in Coloma, Hartford and Stevensville and was a hunting and fishing enthusiast. He was an active member at Salem Lutheran Church, serving in a variety of roles, most recently as Head of the Board of Elders and Chairman of the congregation.

Gene is survived by his children Dennis (Rhonda) Rennhack of Stevensville and Linda (Fred) Koenigshof of Coloma; son in law Dennis (Marie) Marsh; seven grandchildren Aaron Rennhack, Jonathan Rennhack, Erich (Liliam) Koenigshof, Amy (Daniel) Kowalski, Emily (James) Page, James (Jennifer) Marsh and Samantha (Drew) Williams; and five great grandchildren Mason, Aubree, Andrew, Carlee and Natalie.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine, his daughter Julie Marsh, infant son Curtis Rennhack and his four brothers Dick, Roy, Jerry and Don Rennhack.
