George R. Becker, 68 of Coloma passed away on Thursday, December 7 at his home.

There will be a friends and family gathering at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20 at his brother Pete's house, 3343 Park Road: Coloma, MI 49038. George was born April 19, 1955 in St. Joseph to Clyde and Ellen (Walgren) Becker. He attended Western Michigan University and worked in St. Joe doing advertising artwork and layouts in his 20s before coming back and working on the family farm. George was always the comedian in the family and loved making people laugh. He was also an animal lover, an artist who enjoyed painting and drawing and later on took an interest in computers.

George is survived by his siblings William (Peg) Becker, Richard (Toni) Becker, Barbara (Dan) Najacht, Peter Becker, Margaret (Thom) Phillipson and Tom Becker. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

George was preceded in death by his parents.
