Gertrude "Trudy" Polashak, 80, of Benton Harbor and North Port, Fla., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 27, 2022.

Trudy was born January 1, 1942, in Wolhynien, Poland.  Daughter of the late Gustav and Elli Juengling. Trudy was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School and Sister Lakes Beauty Academy. Trudy enjoyed her time as a hair stylist for the Princess Characters at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL before retiring in Clermont FL. Trudy was an accomplished singer/musician and also enjoyed traveling, crafting, and spending time with her beloved puppies.

She is survived by her two sons Terry and Jeff Polashak. along with her eight brothers and sisters. Hedy, Frieda, Herb, Adolph, Will, Lena, Reiny, and Ursula.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27 at Sister Lakes Community Church with a luncheon to follow.
