Gordon C. Bauschke, 81, of Coloma, passed away quietly at his home on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Burial at North Shore Memory Gardens will follow. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials in Gordon's honor may be made to the North Berrien Senior Center or to Berrien County Cancer Service. Gordon was born April 12, 1934 in Lowell, Michigan; one of three sons born to the late Harvey and Amanda (Clover) Bauschke. He was a member of the U.S. Navy Reserves for eight years. He began work at GM Motors in Kalamazoo in 1966 as a tool and die maker and retired in 1997 after 31 years. Two years prior to that he married his wife Wilma. They had recently celebrated their 20 year anniversary together. Gordon enjoyed wood working, toy trains, bowling and playing cards at the Senior Center. He also enjoyed visiting the casinos.

Gordon is survived by his wife Wilma; two sons, Raymond Bauschke of Taylorsville, KY and Scott Bauschke of Dear Park, TX; two step-sons, Kenneth and Darrell Irwin; his brother Harold Bauschke of St. Joseph; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sheri Light in 2014 and his brother Raymond Bauschke.
