Herta Nemethy, 90, of Coloma passed away May 10, 2017 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

Funeral services will be held on 12:00 P.M. Friday, May 12, 2017at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation beginning one hour prior.  Burial will follow in Coloma Cemetery. Herta was born on February 11, 1927 in Mannheim, Germany to Friedrich and Karolina (Wegman) Wildenmann.  She retired from Coloma public Schools and loved gardening and traveling.  Herta was a very loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with family and they always came first.

Herta is survived by her children Dee (John) Frye of Mocksville, N.C., Berndt Weber of Germany, and Gerrt (Art) Nemethy of St. Joseph.  Also surviving are her grandchildren John J. and Stephen Frye, Alex Nemethy, and Oliver and Sabrina Weber, eight great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and an "adopted son" James.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1998, son Rudi in 2015, grandson Jonathen in 2005 and five siblings.
