Irene Maryann Patterson, 83 of Watervliet, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at her residence.

Per her wishes cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 13 from 5 to 7 concluding with the Rosary at 7 pm at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma.  Her ashes will be laid to rest in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Evergreen Park, ILL.  In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Irene may be made to the family or Caring circle Hospice.  Those wishing to leave an online message of remembrance may do so by using the "Guestbook" link located on this page.

Irene was born January 10, 1939 in Whitewater, Wisconsin to Walter and Jane (Skinner) Reynolds.  As a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet she was also active in the Alter and Rosary Society.  Irene had a special place in her heart for all of God's creatures, making sure the birds and racoons always had something to eat.  She was a hard worker with a strong worth ethic, operating a home cleaning service for many residents in the area.  She truly was an Angel with a heart of gold.

Survivors include her husband George whom she married December 15, 2000; children Charles E. (Jane) Winkoff, Jr., Richard W. (Joan) Winkoff, Jayne (Henry) Buckles, Cindy Elmore, James Patterson, Richard Patterson, Linda (Jim) Felbinger, Debbie (Rick) Nolte, George (Colleen) Patterson, Patrick (Lisa) Patterson, and Cindy (Jack) Bedtke.  Also surviving is a brother Richard W. Reynolds, a sister Kathleen Volenec, many grandchildren, and many many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sons Michael Winkoff and Philip Patterson.
