Jamie Sue Ferney, 47, of Coloma passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022 after an extended illness.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. Cremation will follow. Jamie was born May 1, 1974 in St. Joseph. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandson. Jamie enjoyed being outdoors doing gardening, camping, kayaking and fishing. She liked to go on long car rides to no place in particular, sit around the campfire with friends and family, have movie nights and play cards. She also enjoyed cooking and decorating, and liked owls and cats and dogs.

Jamie is survived by her significant other, Kevin Simkins; her daughter Kristin Blakeman;  her grandson Bentley Blakeman; her son Dylan Smith; daughter-in-law Leah Watkins; Kevin's children: Brittany, Kayli, and John Simkins; David Edleberg and family; three sisters, Jennifer, Brenda, and Beth Edleberg and her brother Chase Edleberg.
