Jamie J. Hudson, 40, of Coloma passed away on April 28, 2017 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service. Jamie was born on May 29, 1976 in Benton Harbor. He started working as a cook as a teenager at Roxy's and Max's and worked on and off nearly 20 years at Easy Street Inn. Jamie received his CDL in 2003 and worked for Conway Trucking from 2003-2011. He enjoyed working on cars, playing cards and dice, watching old TV shows like Andy Griffith and old cartoons, Speed Buggy being one of his favorites. His greatest joys came from spending time with his children and friends. Jamie would spend mornings eating Froot Loops watching Flintstones with his daughter and evenings playing rummy while listening to Megadeth and Slayer with his son.

Jamie is survived by his mother, Juliet Hudson, his children Alizabeth and Christian Hudson, and their mother, Amy Aviles all of Coloma, his brother Rob Hudson, sister Tonya Hudson, and nephew Cody Hudson also of Coloma, a sister in law Rebecca Russell,  and his girlfriend Christine Cochran.
