Janet Lynn Forker, 75 of Benton Harbor passed away December 6, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorial donations in Janet's memory may be made to Caring Circle Hospice or the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Janet was born January 15, 1948 in Benton Harbor to Donald and Dorothy (Bedunah) Frakes. Before retirement, Janet loved working at NBD F & M Bank in Benton Harbor and Orchards Mall when it was in it's prime. She also enjoyed feeding the fish and taking care of her ornamental pond, planting flowers, cooking and baking.  Janet also had a love for watching all of the wildlife come up through their back yard and feeding the birds.

Janet is survived by her husband Jerry, who she married on January 24, 2003 and she loved taking care of him; their children Scott (Qiana) Bridwell and Marcy (Brian) Bridwell-Cox; step son Brandon (Lauren) Forker; sister Stacy (Bradley) Marosites; grandchildren Jenna (AJ) Summerville, Whitney (Dustin) White, Rian Atterberry, Justin Bridwell, William Bridwell, Nadia Bridwell, Asher Bridwell, Madison Bridwell, Reagan Bridwell and Hailee Bridwell; and 12 great grandchildren.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents.
