Janet Pokagon, 75, of Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.

As per Janet's wishes, cremation has taken place and no local services are planned at this time. Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home is assisting the family in the arrangements.

Janet was born in Watervliet, Michigan on January 13, 1947; the daughter of Jason and Beth Robinson. Following her high school graduation, she continued on with her education to become a registered nurse. She had worked at Lakeland Hospital in Watervliet for over 40 years, eventually retiring in 2015. Janet and her husband John enjoyed many vacations and cruises together, with Disney World among her favorites. She enjoyed helping others as well as being an animal lover.

Janet is survived by her husband John and their daughter Courtney Pokagon of Hartford.
