Jeanine D. Baldwin, 74 of Coloma passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

Jeanine was born November 3, 1949 in Cook, Minnesota to Elwood and Deloris (Johnson) Steele.  She and her husband owned and operated Maintenance Service Electrical until their retirement in 2011.  Jeanine was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in South Haven where she was active in the choir and just loved to sing.  She loved her grandchildren and anytime they stopped by she was ready to cook for them whether it be baked goodies or her homemade burger and fries.  She was very kind hearted and as her kids grew up, she welcomed many kids into her home, feeding them, and always finding time to show them God's love.  In her free time Jeanine enjoyed gardening and it showed as her yard was filled with beautiful flower gardens.

Survivors include her son Brent (Shelly) Baldwin of Benton Harbor; daughter JaNay (Brian) Tavolacci of Coloma; two brothers Harlan (Margaret) Steele of Grandbury, TX, Stewart (Nancy) Steele of Park Rapids, MN, and a sister Doylene Austin of Lawley, AL.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren; Kellie Russell, Richard (Kersten) Russell, Antonio (Emily) Tavolacci, Brendan (fiancé Kelsey) Baldwin, Julia Russell, Marcellina Tavolacci, Zander Baldwin, Abigail Baldwin, and two great grandchildren, Wesley and Jace Tavolacci.

Jeanine was preceded in death by her husband Darrel Baldwin in 2013.
