Jennie was born July 1, 1925 in Coloma to Angelo and Madeline Galeno. She was a lifetime resident of Coloma and had previously been employed at VM Corporation, Adams Electronics and Heath Company. Jennie was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. She was very vibrant and always greeted others with a big smile. She loved being outside and working in her garden, always sharing the fruits of her labor with her neighbors. Woodland Terrace became her home after her husband Harold passed away in 2017 and the people there were like a second family. She made many new friends and became their ray of sunshine. Jennie and her family could not say enough about how wonderful Woodland Terrace was to her.
Jennie is survived by her son Johnny Baker; her niece Jane Falcone who was loved like a daughter; two grandchildren, Christine (Jake) Brocker and Benjamin (Emilee) Baker; five great grandchildren, Thor, Izzy, David, Colton and Rhys; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold; her parents; four sisters, Mamie Anatra, Sarah Palowski, Josephine Falcone and Mary Schab; and nephews Phil Anatra Jr., Chuck Anatra and Bobby Schab.
