Joseph R. Fuessel, Jr. “Uncle Dude”, 56, passed away on August 12, 2026 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Joseph was born December 18, 1969 in LaGrange, IL to Joseph and Judith (Stubitsch) Fuessel. He was known as the funny person, cracking jokes at any opportunity and who gave everyone he knew a nickname. Joseph enjoyed hanging out with his family, including nieces, nephews and his numerous cousins and was affectionately known by the kids as “Uncle Dude”.

Joseph is survived by his parents Joseph Sr. and Judie Fuessel; sisters Wendy Fuessel of Mattawan, MI and Jennifer Fuessel of Manhattan, IL; nieces and nephews Vinnie Perillo, Emma Rojek, Joey Fuessel, Reyna Guerra, Jaimi Fuessel; great nephew LJ Fuessel; great nieces Skyla Fuessel and Alexandria Anderson; and numerous aunt, uncles and cousins.

Joseph is preceded in death by his sister Donna Acedo.
