Joyce I. Aviles, 72, of Coloma, passed away on March 3, 2018 at Pine Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stevensville.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 12 pm Friday, March 9th at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where the family will receive friends beginning at 11 am.  Donations in memory of Joyce may be made to the American Heart Association.  Those wishing to leave an online message of remembrance may do so by selecting the link on this page.

Joyce was born August 5, 1945 in Benton Harbor to Leonard and Opal (Pitcher) Kepil.   Joyce was employed by Ausco for five years and most recently Meijers and was an artist who loved to draw and paint.

Joyce is survived by her sons Leonard Aviles of Coloma, Ron Aviles of Niles and Don Aviles of Coloma. Also surviving are her grandchildren Christena, Karli, Logan, Izabella, Christian and Alizabeth, and brother and sister in law Joe and Cindy Aviles of Coloma.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Patrick in 1974.
