Justine "Chris" Valenti, 86, of Otsego, formerly of Coloma passed away June 24, 2023.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. concluding with a service at 7:00 P.M.  A private family burial service will take place in Coloma Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Justine may be made to Medical Team Hospice of Grand Rapids.  Those wishing to leave a message of remembrance may do so by using the "guestbook" link located on this page.

Justine was born July 6, 1936 in Watervliet to Fred and Helen Schuhknecht as their only child.  On May 18, 1955 she married Benedict Valenti in Shreveport, LA.  They were married for 50 years before Ben's passing in 2005.

Justine enjoyed raising and showing her dogs and enjoyed her family get-togethers when life allowed.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Survivors include three sons, Dominick (Ximena) Valenti of Angleton, TX, Mark (Liz) Valenti of Benton Harbor, and Michael (Deborah) Valenti of Allegan, her daughter Kathi (William) Ward of Bowie, TX, and sister-in-law Diane Harris.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Ashley, Charli, Kaitlyn, Sabrina (Jeff), Rebekah (Andrew), Bridget (Jerrod), Chris (Nikki), Jenna (Michael), Anna (Scott), Conner, Lee Alan (Crystal), along with several great grandchildren.
