Kenneth R. Faultersack, 73 of Coloma passed away on June 19, 2026 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Ken’s memory may be made to American Legion Post #105 or Wounded Warrior Project. Ken was born June 1, 1953 in Benton Harbor to Rodney and Dorothy (Van Eyk) Faultersack. He served in the Marines and was a journeyman carpenter from 1978 until his retirement in 2017, traveling throughout the United States for various assignments. Ken was an avid fisherman and hunter, a huge Detroit Lions fan and loved music. He planted roots in Coloma, building their forever home in 1989 where he raised his family and enjoyed spending time with his wife, Rebecca. Ken was a great coach, teacher and friend with a witty sense of humor that will never be forgotten.
Ken is survived by his wife Rebecca, whom he married October 2, 1976; his children Michelle (Ryan) Hernandez and Michael (Becca Bookout) Faultersack; siblings Adam Faultersack and Karen (Jerry) Geren; two grandchildren Samuel (Lola) Cooper and Audra Bookout and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents.
