Kenneth Grove, 80, of Coloma, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

As per Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place and no local services are planned in the immediate future. Memorials in his memory may be made to Hanson Hospice Center.

Ken was born October 22, 1937 in Morris, Ill. to Eva and Harold Grove. He moved to Michigan from Illinois in 1969 and began working at Benton Harbor's Mercy Hospital in maintenance. After 16 years at the hospital, Ken went to work for Superior Property Management in St. Joseph where he worked for 20 years prior to retirement. He married Kelleen Hutchison on April 11, 1970 and the couple had just celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. Ken and Kelleen had two daughters together.

Ken is survived by his wife Kelleen and their two daughters, Kimberly Grove (Scott Shipman) of Coloma and Christina Grove of Morris, Ill. He also has four surviving children residing in Las Vegas: Cathy Grove, Kenneth Grove, Jr., Mark Grove and Karen Norton; his sisters Margaret Adam of St. Joseph and Virginia Sereno of Morris, Ill. In addition he has two local granddaughters, Shaina Wolgensinger of Bangor and Paige Shipman of Coloma, two local great grandchildren, Joshua Applewhaite and Jazmine Fairbanks, both of Bangor, as well as a number of additional grandchildren and great grandchildren in Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Arlene Ortiz and his brother Edward Grove.
