Kristofer Logan Clayton, 26, of Bangor passed away June 29, 2023.

Services celebrating his life will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 7, at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home where visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 P.M.  Burial will be in Fish Cemetery in Covert.  Donations in memory of Kristofer may be made to the family.  Those wishing to leave an online message of remembrance may do so by using the "Guestbook" link located on this page.

Kristofer was born January 30, 1997 in South Haven to Dale "D.J." and Christina (Hess) Clayton.  He was truly a hardworking tree guy who just loved doing tree work.  He was always someone you could depend on who would drop everything to give you a hand.  He loved working on his Chevy trucks and two tracking in his Jeep.  He also enjoyed playing around the house with the little ones and running RC cars with his boys.

In addition to his parents, Kristofer is survived by his fiancé Kristen Chism, one son Landon Clayton, a stepdaughter Scarlett Bus, a stepson Elijah Bus, his grandfather Dale Clayton, Sr., his sister Erin (Nickolas Polerecky) Clayton, and two nephews Hunter and Parker Polerecky.  Also surviving are many other relatives and friends.

Kristofer was preceded in death by grandparents Mary Clayton, and Jack and Mary Hess, great grandfather John Logan Clayton, an aunt Michelle Borden, a cousin Shawn Borden, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
