Larry D. Butler, 68, of Benton Harbor, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at his residence.

Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 14, at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  Burial with military honors will take place at North Shore Memory Gardens.  Memorial donations in Larry's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Larry was born October 18, 1947 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Domer and Dessie (Spears) Butler.   He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.  Larry worked for Leco for several years before his retirement.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, barbequing and everything in between.  He also truly enjoyed spending time with his kids and his grandkids.

Larry is survived by two daughters Dena Potter (Don Kirby) and Jaime Andersen (Chris Howarth)  both of Coloma.  Also surviving are his siblings Julius (Kathy) Butler of Benton Harbor, and Linda Addison of Heber Springs, Ark; his grandchildren Ciara Butler, Travis Potter, Stephen Butler, Mika Andersen, Leya Andersen, and Trevor Kirby; his great grandchildren Bryton Butler, Hunter Bryant, and Milaya Butler.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, and his companion Jean Goodrich.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
