Lois L. Cook, 75, of Watervliet, passed away on October 17, 2015 at Caretel Inn in St. Joseph. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1771 W. Glenlord Road, Stevensville, Michigan on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 6 PM with visitation starting at 5 PM. Memorial donations in Lois's memory may be made to Jehovah's Witnesses or Hospice at Home. Lois was born July 17, 1940 in Judsonia, Arkansas to John and Ida Morris. Lois was the director of human resources at Sears and Roebuck, was an employee there for 30 years and retired in 2005. She enjoyed sharing Bible truths with others and taking care of her flowers and plants. Lois also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Lois is survived by her husband Sam along with her son Sam (Desiree) Cook Jr. of Berrien Springs, MI , and two sisters Ruby Cartright and Jean Robinson both of South Bend, IN. Also surviving are two grandchildren Brandon (Jennifer) Cook and Stacia Cook all from Brooklyn, NY. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Gladys Smith.
