Liucija "Lucy" Gibson, 69, passed away Sunday evening, January 31, 2016, at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Lucy was born August 14, 1946 in Oldenburg, Germany to Ignas and Marijona Kuslikis. She was a registered nurse and had worked primarily at Watervliet Community Hospital and Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw. In her free time Lucy liked to do crafting, mushrooming, and collecting angel figurines. She also enjoyed feeding and watching hummingbirds and enjoyed musicals and opera.

Lucy is survived by her children, David (Laura) Gibson of Coloma, Ramona Rogers of Grand Rapids, and Katrina (Mark McCuan) Gibson of Coloma:  her sisters Laima (Dave) Braune of Oak Brook, Illinois and Aldona (Paul) Riskus of Erie, Colorado; two brothers, Dr. Ben (Molly) Kuslikis of Grand Rapids, and Al Kuslikis of Alexandria, Virginia and five grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma.
